3. Complete the Admissions Process
In this step, you'll provide more detailed information about your student and upload additional documents, such as proof of residency and a birth certificate. For a list of specific documents that will be required, contact our enrollment consultants at 866.339.9071.
4. Next Steps
All families participate in a pre-approval telephone conversation with an enrollment consultant. This will help you identify documents you may need to complete, depending on your student’s situation.
5. Receive Official Approval
Upon successful completion of the enrollment process, your student will be approved. Please check your email for important information regarding your student's status and how to access the Online School platform.

Applications are now being accepted for the 2019–2020 school year!
Enrollment is limited for the upcoming school year. If the number of new applications received by 5:00 PM (ET) on Friday, February 22, 2019 exceeds the total number of seats available by grade and/or the entire school, we will conduct a lottery to determine initial seat offers. Families eligible for the lottery will be notified early May if a lottery is required.
Students must reside in the state of Ohio to be eligible for enrollment. Parents must also review and agree to the Parent Compact during the enrollment/registration process. To be accepted for enrollment in Ohio Virtual Academy, a student must be able to complete ALL Ohio graduation requirements by their 22nd birthday.
Applications are currently being approved in the order in which they complete the enrollment steps outlined above, until we reach our enrollment cap. If we reach our enrollment cap, applicants will be notified and will be placed on our wait list in the order in which they complete the steps. If necessary, seat offers will be extended throughout the school year as space becomes available.
