Middle School Academics

Curriculum that Empowers

Ohio Virtual Academy (OHVA) believes in finding new ways of learning that work for all kinds of students. That’s why we use the K12 curriculum. It was created by an experienced team of educators using proven instructional approaches.

At the middle school level, students take courses in the core subjects listed below. They also take self-guided electives in music and world languages.

*The K12 high school catalog is a complete list of the high school courses K12 provides. While OHVA offers a comprehensive selection of courses, not every K12 high school course is available to OHVA students. Information on specific courses of study and available electives are provided upon enrollment. For details, please speak to an enrollment consultant during the enrollment process.

The cost of college courses varies by college and course. Some college courses may be offered at a reduced or a waived tuition rate. Depending on the college and the course, students may be responsible for textbooks and other materials as well as incidental fees specified by the college or university.
