Which pathways are offered?

Health Information Management—This pathway helps students gain the mathematics, science, and technical skills needed to create, manage, and maintain confidential electronic health data and records.


Allied Health (Medical Assisting or State-Tested Nursing Assistant)—This pathway helps students gain the mathematics, science, and technical skills needed to provide clinical assistance in patient care, emergency interventions (CPR, first aid, AED), nutrition, dentistry, and surgery.

What types of jobs can my student learn about and prepare for?*

Examples of jobs include:

  • Admitting clerk
  • Advanced practical nurse
  • Certified nursing assistant (CNA)
  • Medical and health services manager 
  • Medical assistant
  • Medical biller
  • Medical transcriptionist

*Some of these jobs require additional education and certifications once a student graduates from high school.
